Let's cut to the chase...
Jan "Sexy Back" Maxwell deserves this year's Best Actress Tony.
Yes, yes we know... Audra McDonald's the greaaatessttt... YAWN. We all love Audra, but she has enough Tony's for now -- give someone else a go. It's too soon to throw her into Lansbury Territory, Tony-wise.
Plus, JAN DESERVES IT. All we've thought about since we first saw Follies has been Jan. We live and breathe her. Everyone went to see Follies for Bernadette and left thinking only of Jan. That's why this is officially the start of campaign season #Jan2012. WHO'S ON BOARD?
